Once upon a time you loved her first. Before she knew what a fairytale was, you were the hero of her magical story. You crowned her your princess before she ever wore a tiara. And she twirled in your heart long before she could spin you around on the dance floor. And because you loved her first, you are cordially invited to the "I Loved Her First" Daddy & Daughter Dance. Dads (and other special persons), come dressed to impress. Girls should wear their favorite sparkling dress. This enchanted evening includes light refreshments, music and dancing, corsages, photo opportunities, games and crafts. It's a tale as old as time and while she may outgrow your arms one day, she'll never outgrow the place you hold in her heart. This enchanted evening is for ages 3-10 years old (adult must accompany). Parenting a baby is exciting and challenging! Join other parents and their babies for this special time together while you talk about feeding, sleeping, soothing and adjusting to parenthood. Dust off those winter blues and join in the play. Let’s put your child’s imagination and problem solving skills to practice with blocks. There will be multiple areas set up in the ECFE wing to explore. We will end our time with a block themed circle. Register by 1/27/2026 $10/child, ages 1-5

Study after study shows that when children spend time playing outside they develop confidence, language, curiosity, imagination, problem-solving and social interaction skills. The great outdoors provides unique stimulation and heightened sensory experiences that can't be replicated indoors. Together, parents and children will explore nature through a variety of experiential, hands-on outdoor activities. Dress for outdoor play and the weather as we will begin each class in our Outdoor Classroom at Falcon Ridge Elementary. After an outdoor circle time, children will stay outdoors with the classroom teacher while parents go indoors for a parent educator-led discussion about ways to support and engage your child in nature.

Ages 3 months-4 years oldAttend class with all of your children or just one. Learning activities will be family focused. There will be something for all ages. Parent time will be sure to cover family relationships and topics that are important to all ages. Class includes parent-child time, circle time, and separation. Class is held at Eagle View Elementary Early Childhood wing (Door #12) in Elko New Market.

Ages 12-24 months You and your child will love playing together and exploring the toddler classroom with activities selected for this age. Enjoy the first half of class together playing, learning, and singing at circle time. After circle time, parents will go to a separate room to meet with the parent teacher to talk about healthy separation, positive parenting, setting limits and other issues important to the group. Sibling care is available however you do need to register your child for this.

Birth-6 years Where does milk come from? Watch how they milk the cows! You will get to experience farm life. We will ride the school bus to Zweber Farms in Elko New Market. School bus pick up at the Central Education Campus at 5:30 pm, Eagle View @ 5:50 pm, return by 7:30 pm. When registering, please indicate which pick up location you choose. Please register by September 14. Please register your family based on how many attending, i.e. 2 parents/1 child-pick the 3 attending - $24.00, 1 parent/1 child-pick the 2 attending - $16.00 , 1 additional person - $8.00. This event is for preschoolers and their grandma, grandpa or any special friend. The bumpers will be in place so everyone has a chance to knock down the pins! Meet at Strike Force Bowl in New Prague, bowl a game and then have pizza. $15 fee includes one game, shoe rental, and pizza per individual. Please register for how many will be attending. For example, if two are attending, you will choose the $30.00 fee. You will list who is bowling when you register. Ages 2 1/2 - 5

Come and play with your young children at the CEC gym. We are promoting physical development and community opportunities for young children during the winter months. Space will be set up to promote active play for children ages 0-5. Older children are welcome to come if they have a sibling 5 or under. Parents must stay. You do not need to attend the whole time; you can drop in as you are able. $3/child or $6/family, pay at the door (no need to pre-register) You will pay at the door. Ages birth-5 years old

Newborn Talk- Year Round Congratulations on the arrival of your baby! This class is for parents with babies 0-16 weeks.A nurse and parent educator will be available to answer questions about your newborn and provide support, connection and resources. Some topics include feeding, sleeping, attachment, development and returning to work. Plus, we will offer weekly baby weight checks! Free! All ages Back by popular demand!! The first Tuesday-Thursday of October and May enjoy an Outdoor Story Walk with your child(ren) on your own schedule, during daylight hours. The Outdoor Story Walk will be at a local establishment. Parents and children will be able to get outdoors for some exercise, while also enjoying a story and lots of fun, related activities. Once you complete the walk, we invite you to sign our guest book and pick out a prize! This event is free. Donations are welcomed. However, registration is required so we have enough supplies. One week prior to Story Walk, you will receive an email with details about the walk (location of walk, book title, activities to do with your child related to the book and other important details.)

Raising a child with unique learning and developmental needs comes with both challenges and rewards. This ECFE class is designed exclusively for parents of children on an IFSP or IEP, providing a supportive community to share experiences, learn from experts, and explore strategies to navigate parenting with confidence. Co-taught by an early childhood teacher, an ECSE teacher, and a parent educator, this class will offer guidance on advocacy, child development, and practical tools for home and school success. Join us for a time of learning from other parents of children with unique needs, connection, and encouragement.

Is your child attending preschool next year? Get them excited and prepared for school by joining us for a great introduction to the routines and structure of preschool. More time for learning for both children and parents. Class will include parent/child school readiness activities and circle time. At separation time, children will explore the learning centers and have a reading circle time. Ages 3-5 This class is for parents and children who are currently attending preschool or planning to start preschool next year. Parents and children spend the first half of class participating in fun, learning activities together that have been planned by a teacher. During the second part of class, children remain in the preschool classroom with the teacher while parents meet with a Parent Educator. Topics will include getting your child ready for preschool and kindergarten, development of family relationships, discipline and behavior. Sibling care is available but you must register your child(ren) for sibcare.
