Once upon a time you loved her first. Before she knew what a fairytale was, you were the hero of her magical story. You crowned her your princess before she ever wore a tiara. And she twirled in your heart long before she could spin you around on the dance floor. And because you loved her first, you are cordially invited to the "I Loved Her First" Daddy & Daughter Dance. Dads (and other special persons), come dressed to impress. Girls should wear their favorite sparkling dress. This enchanted evening includes light refreshments, music and dancing, corsages, photo opportunities, games and crafts. It's a tale as old as time and while she may outgrow your arms one day, she'll never outgrow the place you hold in her heart. This enchanted evening is for ages 3-10 years old (adult must accompany). Advantage Educational Programs gives students the option of preparing for the ACT exam in three different ways: the In-School ACT Preparatory Course, Virtual ACT Preparatory Course or the Online ACT Preparatory Course. Courses are designed for students who want to maximize their ACT exam score, as well as those who feel uneasy about their test-taking skills or who have taken the exam and aren't satisfied with their results. In-School ACT Preparatory Course This course consists of four, three-hour classes that meet one day each week at one of our many school locations. The course includes diagnostic testing, instruction in time management, overcoming test anxiety, science reasoning, English strategies and review, essay writing, reading comprehension, and math strategies and review. Students enrolled in these classes not only benefit from personal instruction provided by our experienced instructors, but also have free access to our online course. The fee for this course is $180, with all class materials included. Virtual ACT Prep Course This course is designed for students who prefer to prep for the ACT in a virtual classroom. Four, three-hour classes are taught live via Zoom by an Advantage instructor. Internet connection and a tablet or computer is required. Fee for this course is $180. Self-Paced ACT Preparatory Course This course is an excellent alternative for any student unable to attend in-school classes or a student preferring to prepare for the ACT exam on their own and study at their desired pace. Once enrolled, students are sent an access code for their class via email. The fee for this course is $80. Repeating ACT Preparatory Course Students can make up any class they miss at other available class locations and may REPEAT any of the ACT prep courses by requesting the Self-Paced Online ACT Prep Course free of charge.

Students will learn communication and acting skills during this fun course. Students will perform skits based on popular children's books. This year we will use some of Eric Carle's best books like "The Very Hungry Caterpillar", "Ten Rubber Duckies", or "Brown Bear" to perform for you on the last day In addition to skits, students will participate in a variety of acting games designed to build confidence, creativity, and performance skills. The session will conclude with a short performance on the final day of class, February 13 at 11:30 AM, where students will showcase what they have learned.

This is for the experienced volleyball player who is looking for fast-paced, highly competitive games. Teams are formed each evening. To be able to offer a competitive level of play, it is recommended that players: Have experience playing on a competitive league team (college, high school, or other) Are comfortable playing a 3 hit sequence - pass, set, attack (spike) Can maintain control of the ball through effective forearm passes and legal hits (no lift, carry, throw of ball, or letting the ball come to rest) Can serve efficiently, with the majority of serves getting over the net and into play PLEASE NOTE: Registration is required. Grab your friends and let’s get together for a little fun and exercise! This advanced beginner level class requires experience with basic line dance steps. It is suggested that you have completed one of the instructor’s classes in the past. Line dancing offers low impact activity and provides excellent therapeutic exercise for our body mind and soul. We will learn a variety of line dances to current and classic country music, as well as pop and rock. Hope to see you all on the dance floor!

Each 45-minute class encompasses two different developmental sport lesson, muscle identification, and fruit or vegetable introduction, using fun activities so they can build their skills at their own pace in a non-competitive atmosphere.

Join us for a fun and interactive class where you’ll learn the basics of this classic tile game! We’ll cover the rules, strategies, and gameplay essentials to get you started. Enjoy a social and engaging experience as you match tiles, build hands, and develop winning moves. This class is designed for beginners—no experience needed! Each session builds on the last, so consistent attendance is important for success. An additional $15 fee is due to the instructor at the first class for an official National Mah Jongg League card, but all other supplies will be provided. Take a seat at the table, shuffle the tiles, and get ready to shout “Mah Jongg!”

We will investigate critical eras and issues from our nation's history. Our discussion will center around defining moments from each era and how they've shaped our nation over time.

Kick off the school year with a creative drawing adventure! In this session, students explore a variety of engaging subjects while learning important artistic techniques such as proportion, texture, shading and pattern. Young artists will enjoy creating a delicious pizza drawing while practicing detail and composition. An adorable baby sloth introduces character design and expressive faces, while our portrait of Hiawatha offers an opportunity to explore art history and cultural storytelling through drawing. Each lesson encourages creativity while strengthening foundational drawing skills and artistic confidence.

Parenting a baby is exciting and challenging! Join other parents and their babies for this special time together while you talk about feeding, sleeping, soothing and adjusting to parenthood. This is a non-separating class. Sibling care is available for our daytime class, but you must pre-register for it. Daytime class: Birth-12 monthsEvening class: Birth-18 months

This course is best suited for 10 to 13-year-olds interested in learning the current practices of caring for young children and how to manage their babysitting business. Students will learn safety and injury prevention, CPR, first aid basics, feeding and caring for infants and how to handle behavior problems. Students receive a reference book, handouts, babysitting bag and first aid kit.
