Procrastinate no more! No matter what your age, give your loved ones an important gift by creating two legal documents - a Health Care Directive and a Power of Attorney. These documents are vitally important in the event you become incapacitated and cannot make decisions for yourself. A Health Care Directive (akin to the old "Living Will") is a legal document that communicates your health care wishes and allows you to name someone to make health care decisions for you when you cannot speak for yourself. A Power of Attorney allows you to choose someone to handle your finances and property and is effective immediately upon signing. In this class, you will prepare both of these documents so you won't end up without these important legal plans in place. Leave class with two notarized documents and give yourself and your loved ones peace of mind.

Offered year-round Congratulations on the arrival of your baby! This class is for parents with babies 0-16 weeks. A nurse and parent educator will be available to answer questions about your newborn and provide support, connection and resources. Some topics include feeding, sleeping, attachment, development and returning to work. Plus, we will offer weekly baby weight checks! Free sibling care is available during class. Free! For children ages 6-13 This summer give your child an American Ninja Warrior Experience! Young Ninjas develop strength and agility during this camp by learning different styles and techniques to master all obstacles! We have warped walls, angled steps, salmon ladders, cliff hangers, tilted ladders; everything you need to put your ninja skills to work! This camp transfers well into ninja levels testing or enhances other athletic performances. All camps are coached by an experienced Ninja Trainer. All ages Back by popular demand!! The first Tuesday-Thursday of October and May enjoy an Outdoor Story Walk with your child(ren) on your own schedule, during daylight hours. The Outdoor Story Walk will be at Barten Pumpkins in October and Cedar Lake Farm in May. Parents and children will be able to get outdoors for some exercise, while also enjoying a story and lots of fun, related activities. Once you complete the walk, we invite you to sign our guest book and pick out a prize! This event is free. Donations are welcomed. However, registration is required so we have enough supplies. One week prior to Story Walk, you will receive an email with details about the walk (location of walk, book title, activities to do with your child related to the book and other important details.)

Is your child attending preschool next year? Get them excited and prepared for school by joining us for a great introduction to the routines and structure of preschool. More time for learning for both children and parents. Class will include parent/child school readiness activities and circle time. At separation time, children will explore the learning centers and have a reading circle time. Teen Driver Safety Parent Awareness ClassAttention parents of soon-to-be teen drivers! Do you know the real risks for teen drivers? Do you know the restrictions on new teen drivers? Can you cancel your teen’s license? Learn the answers to these questions and more in this class.Experts on young driver behaviors agree that involved parents make a difference in reducing crashes. This class will increase your awareness of the most common risks for teen drivers (you may be surprised!) and teen driver laws. It will increase your understanding of the strong influence you can have on your teen’s driving behavior.Parents — who understand teen driving risks and laws — can help their teen become a safer driver.Don’t miss this important opportunity to become aware of the risks your teen faces and arm yourself with ways you can keep them safe. It is not required that teens attend, but they are welcome to as parents see fit.Hosted by local driver education instructors and guest law enforcement speakers in partnership with the Minnesota Teen Safe Driving Coalition and the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. Ages 3-5 This class is for parents and children who are currently attending preschool or planning to start preschool next year. Parents and children spend the first half of class participating in fun, learning activities together that have been planned by a teacher. During the second part of class, children remain in the preschool classroom with the teacher while parents meet with a Parent Educator. Topics will include getting your child ready for preschool and kindergarten, development of family relationships, discipline and behavior. Sibling care is available but you must register your child(ren) for sibcare.
