Glass mosaic may sound like a fancy, difficult art form but in this class, you'll learn how it can be fun and easy! Join us to create your own glass mosaic table top or sign. You'll look through an idea book, browse patterns and stencils, and choose from dozens of colors of precut glass. Sign ideas include Welcome, house number, last name or state of MN. **NOTE: An additional fee is payable to the instructor the first night of class and is determined by the project you choose to create. Tables are 16”x16” and 16” tall and are $80 each. Signs vary in size and are $16-$40 each. You will be asked to select your project at the time of registration so we have enough supplies.

In this class, you will create 25 holiday cards (five cards of five different designs). All materials will be cut, packaged and ready for you to enjoy an evening of creating. T-shirt quilts are a special way of preserving memories from your favorite vacation, sports, school years, plays, etc. They make great gifts for holidays, birthdays, anniversaries and graduations. This class walks you through the steps needed to create and design a 72" X 90" keepsake quilt using your favorite t-shirts, sweatshirts or jerseys. No quilting experience is needed for this class, but you must have access to a sewing machine and be able to use it. Additional supplies such as fabric for sashing, borders and binding can be purchased from instructor or on your own. Ten yards of fabric is required to complete this quilt. Specific yardage as well as ways to quilt the top will be discussed at the first class. The class fee includes $30 of t-shirt interfacing, and Down Under Quilting offers class participants a special of $95 to professionally machine quilt your t-shirt quilt. You do not need to bring your sewing machine to the first class, but please bring a 45mm rotary cutter if you have one.
