DASH Sports: Multi-Sport CampOtherDASH Sports Summer Multi-Sport camp includes fun skills training and games in three sports: Soccer, Flag Football, and PE games. Athletes will spend roughly 1.5 hours learning and practicing each area per day. Also included daily are fun games such as Dodgeball, Capture the Flag, Kickball, and more! Fall CheerleadingDance & CheerThe cheer season begins mid-August and goes until the end of October/Early November. The team practices a few times a week and cheers at the high school boy's football games. Cheerleaders will learn Trojan cheers, the school song, and other game day material. Plus a homecoming routine, stunting, and more! They will also participate in the high school Homecoming pepfest and parade. Tryouts were June 8th-10th. The roster has been announced. This sign up is for those cheerleaders to complete registration here. **If you missed tryouts and are interested in cheering, please contact Coach Julie Smith jsmith@isd721.org for other opportunities. Other Information: Practice is located at the high school in the cafeteria and varies Monday-Thursday, 3:00-5:00 pm. Varsity game days are typically on Fridays. JV game days vary. Team uniforms will be provided and they need to be returned at the end of the season. Cheerleaders are expected to purchase additional cheer items, including warm ups, cheer shoes, spandex, poms, cheer bow, etc. Parents/guardians are expected to transport their cheerleader to the season away games and arrive on time. This season the locations of the four away games are Rochester (x2), Northfield and Chaska. Section game locations are TBD at this time. A current MSHSL Eligibility form and sports physical is required for all athletes. Sports physicals are completed through your primary care physician or many walk-in clinics/urgent cares. Girls Fall 5th & 6th Grade Volleyball LeagueVolleyballPass, set, hit, serve! Let's learn some skills and play the game of volleyball! This inter-mural league will offer beginners and intermediates opportunities to learn and build upon the fundamental skills of volleyball and opportunities to put those skills into practice by participating in Saturday tournaments with other local communities. We'll play nearby communities in September and early October. Practices will begin in August at NPHS. Practices: Mondays & Wednesdays; 6:00-7:15 pm at NPHS Saturday Game Dates: Information will be sent to registered families when dates and locations are confirmed. League Tournament: More information will be available at a later date. Parent volunteer coaches are needed to assist the head coach with running drills and helping with teams.
