Once upon a time you loved her first. Before she knew what a fairytale was, you were the hero of her magical story. You crowned her your princess before she ever wore a tiara. And she twirled in your heart long before she could spin you around on the dance floor. And because you loved her first, you are cordially invited to the "I Loved Her First" Daddy & Daughter Dance. Dads (and other special persons), come dressed to impress. Girls should wear their favorite sparkling dress. This enchanted evening includes light refreshments, music and dancing, corsages, photo opportunities, games and crafts. It's a tale as old as time and while she may outgrow your arms one day, she'll never outgrow the place you hold in her heart. This enchanted evening is for ages 3-10 years old (adult must accompany). The cost is $25.00 per person ($50.00/Dad + Daughter couple). $25.00 each additional person. Pre-registration is required. This event does sell out and we do not allow walk ins. Parenting a baby is exciting and challenging! Join other parents and their babies for this special time together while you talk about feeding, sleeping, soothing and adjusting to parenthood. This is a non-separating class. Sibling care is available for our daytime class, but you must pre-register for it. Daytime class: Birth-12 monthsEvening class: Birth-18 months

Dust off those winter blues and join in the play. Let’s put your child’s imagination and problem solving skills to practice with blocks. There will be multiple areas set up in the ECFE wing to explore. We will end our time with a block themed circle. Register by 1/27/2026 $10/child, ages 1-5

Join a parent educator in exploring and learning about our community! Sign up for one or all! These community field trips are planned activities for children ages birth-5 year. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. When registering, please indicate all children and adults attending. Study after study shows that when children spend time playing outside they develop confidence, language, curiosity, imagination, problem-solving and social interaction skills. The great outdoors provides unique stimulation and heightened sensory experiences that can't be replicated indoors. Together, parents and children will explore nature through a variety of experiential, hands-on outdoor activities. Dress for outdoor play and the weather as we will begin each class in our Outdoor Classroom at Falcon Ridge Elementary. After an outdoor circle time, children will stay outdoors with the classroom teacher while parents go indoors for a parent educator-led discussion about ways to support and engage your child in nature.

Early Childhood Screening is a FREE, simple check of how your child is growing, developing and learning. State law requires children to be screened between the ages of 3 to 5 years old. The state of Minnesota requires health and developmental screening for every child before kindergarten entry into a public school. New Prague offers this service at no cost. Screening is not a substitute for health care from your family physician, dentist, or other health care providers. Early childhood screening checks: Fine and gross motor skills Vision and hearing Speech and language development Height and weight Cognitive and social development Immunizations Appointments typically take an hour. Follow these steps to make an appointment Click on the location and month you would like to schedule. Select a date and time that works with your schedule and select “Enroll Now”. Complete all requested information and select “Enroll”. The next page is the Shopping Basket. Click “Check Out for $0”. If your registration is successful, you will receive an immediate email confirmation that includes your screening date and time. Note: If you are a new user to the Arux registration system and have created a new account during the registration process, you will receive two emails. One to welcome you as a new Arux user and another to confirm your screening registration. If you do not receive a course confirmation email a few minutes after registering, your registration is not complete and your appointment is not valid. If you need assistance with registration, please email npscreening@isd721.org or call 952-758-1674. Finally, prior to your child's appointment, you will be emailed the screening paperwork. Please finish the paperwork prior to your appointment, save them, and email to npscreening@isd721.org or print them and bring them along with you.
