Ages 3 months-5 years old This special evening opportunity is all about your family enjoying time together in an Early Childhood classroom. Each week there will be a new theme with art, math, science, sensory and more. The first hour will be parent-child exploration and play experiences. Then a robust circle time filled with singing, storytelling, and props. A parent and family teacher leads this class and welcomes older siblings (ages 6-8) to tag along for a "Magnificent Monday" evening.

Ages birth - 5 yrs Come enjoy time with your child and play together in our early childhood classroom! A teacher will be in the room to provide a nurturing environment, movement, fun songs at circle time, and learning activities to encourage your child’s growth and independence. This is a drop-in activity so no pre-registration is required. Come once or as many times as you'd like. Need time to run an errand, do chores around the house, or take an hour for yourself? We also offer a Drop and Go option where you can leave the playing to us! Stay and Play: $3.00/child or $6.00/familyDrop and Go: $5.00/per child

Ages birth-5 yrs (no separation) Unstructured motor time in the CEC gym for the first hour, end class with a group activity led by a teacher. $3/child, $6/family, non walkers are free You do not have to pre-register, you will pay at the door

Walk and Talk This gives parents and caregivers with children under age 8, an opportunity to connect with other moms, dads, nannies, grandparents and get in “steps.” A time to put on some comfy pants and lace up those tennis shoes for an hour of adult connection & movement. We will meet in the ECFE wing at 11:45 am. There will be a discussion question, a parenting tip and resources each week based on the interests of the group. Walk inside or out. Ms. Tara will be available to walk and connect with you too! You can pack a lunch for your little one and drop them off in the ECFE classroom. The class is free, but you do need to register for sib care. Cost is $30.00 per family per session.

Thanks to a generous gift from the Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation, we are able to provide resource bags full of great information to support parents and childcare providers. Ages 3-5 This class is for parents and children who are currently attending preschool or planning to start preschool next year. Parents and children spend the first half of class participating in fun, learning activities together that have been planned by a teacher. During the second part of class, children remain in the preschool classroom with the teacher while parents meet with a Parent Educator. Topics will include getting your child ready for preschool and kindergarten, development of family relationships, discipline and behavior. Sibling care is available but you must register your child(ren) for sibcare.
