The cheer season begins mid-August and goes until the end of October/Early November. The team practices a few times a week and cheers at the high school boy's football games. Cheerleaders will learn Trojan cheers, the school song, and other game day material. Plus a homecoming routine, stunting, and more! They will also participate in the high school Homecoming pepfest and parade. Tryouts were June 8th-10th. The roster has been announced. Other Information: Practice is located at the high school in the cafeteria and varies Monday-Thursday, 3:00-5:00 pm. Varsity game days are typically on Fridays. JV game days vary. Team uniforms will be provided and they need to be returned at the end of the season. Cheerleaders are expected to purchase additional cheer items, including warm ups, cheer shoes, spandex, poms, cheer bow, etc. Parents/guardians are expected to transport their cheerleader to the season away games and arrive on time. This season the locations of the four away games are Rochester (x2), Northfield and Chaska. Section game locations are TBD at this time. A current MSHSL Eligibility form and sports physical is required for all athletes. Sports physicals are completed through your primary care physician or many walk-in clinics/urgent cares.
