This is our competition group that is expected to travel and compete on a regular basis throughout the season. The practices will be closed to non-coaches and will be more intense in nature. Practices are held two times a week for an hour and a half each practice. The suggested age/grade is 4-6. Warm-ups are required at this level; information will be sent out by New Prague Wrestling. Dates, Times, and Location are subject to adjustments. Any changes will be communicated by coaches. Coaches may adjust some individuals' practice time placement as coaches see fit. If you are a girl and are interested in trying out the sport of wrestling, here is your chance! Girl's wrestling is one of the fastest growing sports in the country. The suggested age/grade for this session is kindergarten and up (PreK should join the Option One Session as co-ed). Warm-ups are not required for this level. Note: Girls 1 is for those in PK-3rd grade, except 3rd year wrestlers. Girls 2 is for those in 4th-8th grade or 3rd year wrestlers and beyond. Girls 2 would do fundraising and/or purchase warmups. Entering Grades Pre-K-6 in Fall 2026 Introduction to wrestling to youth. Coaches will teach basic skills, methods, and strategies to become a successful competitor. Wear a t-shirt, shorts and gym shoes, wrestlers will get a camp t-shirt. Falcon Ridge Gym will be used a secondary site if space is full in the NPHS Wrestling Room. Session 1: PreK-K 5:00-5:45 PM Session 2: Grades 1-5 6:00-7:00 PM
