Outdoor Story Walks (All ages)Special Events & Field TripsAll ages Back by popular demand!! The first Tuesday-Thursday of each month in October and May enjoy an Outdoor Story Walk with your child(ren) on your own schedule, during daylight hours. The Outdoor Story Walk will be at a local establishment. Parents and children will be able to get outdoors for some exercise, while also enjoying a story and lots of fun, related activities. Once you complete the walk, we invite you to sign our guest book and pick out a prize! This event is free. Donations are welcomed. However, registration is required so we have enough supplies. "I Loved Her First" Daddy & Daughter DanceSpecial Events & Field TripsOnce upon a time you loved her first. Before she knew what a fairytale was, you were the hero of her magical story. You crowned her your princess before she ever wore a tiara. And she twirled in your heart long before she could spin you around on the dance floor. And because you loved her first, you are cordially invited to the "I Loved Her First" Daddy & Daughter Dance. Dashing dads (and other special persons) come dressed to impress. Girls should wear their favorite sparkling dress. This enchanted evening includes light refreshments, music and dancing, corsages, photo opportunities, games and crafts. It's a tale as old as time and while she may outgrow your arms one day, she'll never outgrow the place you hold in her heart. This enchanted evening is for ages 3-10 years old (adult must accompany). The cost is $25.00 per person ($50.00/Dad + Daughter couple). $25.00 each additional person. Pre-registration is required. This event does sell out and we do not allow walk ins. Come to the ECFE preschool room where parents and children participate in activities and circle time with an Early Childhood teacher before moving to a parent classroom for discussion. ECFE Outdoors @ Falcon Ridge ElementaryMixed AgesStudy after study shows that when children spend time playing outside they develop confidence, language, curiosity, imagination, problem-solving and social interaction skills. The great outdoors provides unique stimulation and heightened sensory experiences that can't be replicated indoors. Together, parents and children will explore nature through a variety of experiential, hands-on outdoor activities. Dress for outdoor play and the weather as we will begin each class in our Outdoor Classroom at Falcon Ridge Elementary.
