Starting SoonACT PrepBrain BoostersAdvantage Educational Programs gives students the option of preparing for the ACT exam in three different ways: the In-School ACT Preparatory Course, Virtual ACT Preparatory Course or the Online ACT Preparatory Course. Courses are designed for students who want to maximize their ACT exam score, as well as those who feel uneasy about their test-taking skills or who have taken the exam and aren't satisfied with their results. In-School ACT Preparatory Course This course consists of four, three-hour classes that meet one day each week at one of our many school locations. The course includes diagnostic testing, instruction in time management, overcoming test anxiety, science reasoning, English strategies and review, essay writing, reading comprehension, and math strategies and review. Students enrolled in these classes not only benefit from personal instruction provided by our experienced instructors, but also have free access to our online course. The fee for this course is $180, with all class materials included. Virtual ACT Prep Course This course is designed for students who prefer to prep for the ACT in a virtual classroom. Four, three-hour classes are taught live via Zoom by an Advantage instructor. Internet connection and a tablet or computer is required. Fee for this course is $180. Self-Paced ACT Preparatory Course This course is an excellent alternative for any student unable to attend in-school classes or a student preferring to prepare for the ACT exam on their own and study at their desired pace. Once enrolled, students are sent an access code for their class via email. The fee for this course is $80. Repeating ACT Preparatory Course Students can make up any class they miss at other available class locations and may REPEAT any of the ACT prep courses by requesting the Self-Paced Online ACT Prep Course free of charge.Fall/Winter 2026-27 -
Acting Fun for Little OnesMusic & TheatreStudents will learn communication and acting skills during this fun course. Students will perform skits based on popular children's books. This year we will use some of Eric Carle's best books like "The Very Hungry Caterpillar", "Ten Rubber Duckies", or "Brown Bear" to perform for you on the last day In addition to skits, students will participate in a variety of acting games designed to build confidence, creativity, and performance skills. Adult Competitive VolleyballHealth & FitnessThis is for the experienced volleyball player who is looking for fast-paced, highly competitive games. Teams are formed each evening. To be able to offer a competitive level of play, it is recommended that players: Have experience playing on a competitive league team (college, high school, or other) Are comfortable playing a 3 hit sequence - pass, set, attack (spike) Can maintain control of the ball through effective forearm passes and legal hits (no lift, carry, throw of ball, or letting the ball come to rest) Can serve efficiently, with the majority of serves getting over the net and into play PLEASE NOTE: Registration is required. An adorable baby sloth introduces character design and expressive faces, while our portrait of Hiawatha offers an opportunity to explore art history and cultural storytelling through drawing. Babysitting 101Health & SafetyThis course is best suited for 10 to 13-year-olds interested in learning the current practices of caring for young children and how to manage their babysitting business. Behind-the-Wheel sessions are offered year-round, weather permitting, with the majority of sessions in the summer months. New Prague chooses to run our Behind-the-Wheel sessions with two students in the car. This gives students opportunities to practice driving as well as learn from observing their peers. Each car is equipped with a camera for the safety of the students and the instructor. Please note: It is recommended that students have 20 hours of supervised driving time with a parent/guardian before beginning Behind-the-Wheel.
