6th-8th Grade Summer Strength and Conditioning ProgramStrength & ConditioningEntering 6th-8th grade in Fall 2026 Join district coaches for a program designed to improve your sport performance. Experience a comprehensive and systematic approach to addressing vital components involved in achieving optimal athletic performance. The primary goal of the program is to develop a foundation for future athletic performance. We accomplish this by: Introducing and developing ground based and multi-joint movement patterns. Focusing on technique and skill development Use of developmentally appropriate loads A gradual addition of primary and auxiliary lifts Focusing on the creation of well-rounded athletes This program is designed to improve overall athletic ability and to lay a foundation for future athletic endeavors. All 7th and 8th grade athletes interested in improving their overall athletic performance are highly encouraged to attend.Summer 2026 -
ACT PrepBrain BoostersAdvantage Educational Programs gives students the option of preparing for the ACT exam in three different ways: the In-School ACT Preparatory Course, Virtual ACT Preparatory Course or the Online ACT Preparatory Course. Courses are designed for students who want to maximize their ACT exam score, as well as those who feel uneasy about their test-taking skills or who have taken the exam and aren't satisfied with their results. In-School ACT Preparatory Course This course consists of four, three-hour classes that meet one day each week at one of our many school locations. The course includes diagnostic testing, instruction in time management, overcoming test anxiety, science reasoning, English strategies and review, essay writing, reading comprehension, and math strategies and review. Students enrolled in these classes not only benefit from personal instruction provided by our experienced instructors, but also have free access to our online course. The fee for this course is $180, with all class materials included. Virtual ACT Prep Course This course is designed for students who prefer to prep for the ACT in a virtual classroom. Four, three-hour classes are taught live via Zoom by an Advantage instructor. Internet connection and a tablet or computer is required. Fee for this course is $180. Self-Paced ACT Preparatory Course This course is an excellent alternative for any student unable to attend in-school classes or a student preferring to prepare for the ACT exam on their own and study at their desired pace. Once enrolled, students are sent an access code for their class via email. The fee for this course is $80. Repeating ACT Preparatory Course Students can make up any class they miss at other available class locations and may REPEAT any of the ACT prep courses by requesting the Self-Paced Online ACT Prep Course free of charge.Summer 2026 -

Babysitting 101Health & SafetyThis course is best suited for 10 to 13-year-olds interested in learning the current practices of caring for young children and how to manage their babysitting business. Students will learn safety and injury prevention, CPR, first aid basics, feeding and caring for infants and how to handle behavior problems. Band Jump StartMusic & TheatreThis is a great way to jump start the 5th grade band experience. During Band Jump Start, incoming 5th grade band students will learn how to put together and take apart their instrument safely, how to produce their first musical sound on their instrument, and how to read music. By the end of the week, students will be able to play their first song! While participation is not required, all incoming 5th grade band instrumentalists are encouraged to attend. Boys Basketball Competition CampBasketballThis camp is an opportunity for athletes to work directly with New Prague Varsity Head Coach Coach Kaupa and his high school staff. Players will be placed in competitive situations ranging from small-sided games to full 5-on-5 play. Athletes will apply their fundamentals in game-like settings, with a strong competitive focus throughout the week of camp. Campers are encouraged to bring their own basketball. Emphasis will be placed on footwork, finishing, passing, and shooting, with an added focus on applying those skills in game-like situations throughout the week. Camp KindergartenEarly ChildhoodThe 2026-27 school year will be here before we know it; along with that will be your child's first day of kindergarten! Camp Kindergarten is a four-day, all-day program designed to help your soon-to-be kindergarten student become comfortable with taking that next step in their educational career. Our friendly, low-stress atmosphere provides age-appropriate activities which promote kindergarten readiness skills with a hands-on learning approach. The New Prague Area Schools' kindergarten teachers are excited to welcome your child into their school and classroom. The week will be structured similarly to what can be expected in a typical Kindergarten classroom in an attempt to help ease those first day of school jitters! WaitlistChild's Play Theatre: Frozen Jr.Music & TheatreA story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen Jr. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen Jr. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart! Auditions take place on March 16th. Performances take place on April 24th at 4:30& 6:30pm & April 25th at 2pm. Auditions will consist of the students learning three different songs of which they will have the choice to sing in front of the directors to determine placement in roles for the show. Auditions will begin at 6 PM and students may leave when their audition is completed or they may stick around until everyone is finished. For people who register ahead of time, we can send them the music to practice prior to the audition date.Summer 2026 -
