Jump into the Fizzy, Fun, & Slime Lab! Kids will create rainbow fizz, erupting ice cream cone volcanos, water bead stress balls and an array of ooey gooey slime creations. This hands-on class is packed with science, messy fun and endless excitement!

DASH Sports Flag Football TYKES camps provide players with an introductory experience to the great game of football in a little to no contact safe environment. Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced. Fun, skill-based games will be played to practice newly learned skills. Athletes should bring a water bottle and wear athletic clothing & shoes (spikes/cleats are optional). Footballs and flag belts are provided. Parent participation is required for the 2-3yr old age group and recommended when needed for the 4+ year old age group.

Join us for an exciting night of Futsal—a fast-paced, small-sided version of soccer played on a basketball-sized court with 5 players per team. With more than double the touches of a standard soccer game, Futsal is action-packed, fun, and a great way to develop your skills in a safe and supportive environment. Games are coached by experienced professionals who keep the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable. Futsal is the most widely played form of soccer in the world, with international competitions held year-round. The game is quick, dynamic, and full of scoring opportunities—similar to hockey, players sub in on the fly and scores often reach double digits. It’s an excellent way to stay active, sharpen your soccer IQ, and build confidence on the court. Ages 12-24 months You and your child will love playing together and exploring the toddler classroom with activities selected for this age. Enjoy the first half of class together playing, learning, and singing at circle time. After circle time, parents will go to a separate room to meet with the parent teacher to talk about healthy separation, positive parenting, setting limits and other issues important to the group. (Separation may be gradual depending on the needs of the children.) Sibling care is available, however you do need to register your child for this.

Pass, set, hit, serve! Let's learn some skills and play the game of volleyball! This inter-mural league will offer beginners and intermediates opportunities to learn and build upon the fundamental skills of volleyball and opportunities to put those skills into practice by participating in Saturday tournaments with other local communities. We'll play nearby communities in September and early October. Practices will begin in August at NPHS. Practices: Mondays & Wednesdays; 6:00-7:15 pm at NPHS Saturday Game Dates: Information will be sent to registered families when dates and locations are confirmed. League Tournament: More information will be available at a later date. Parent volunteer coaches are needed to assist the head coach with running drills and helping with teams. Glass mosaic may sound like a fancy, difficult art form but in this class, you'll learn how it can be fun and easy! Join us to create your own glass mosaic table top or sign. You'll look through an idea book, browse patterns and stencils, and choose from dozens of colors of precut glass. Sign ideas include Welcome, house number, last name or state of MN. **NOTE: An additional fee is payable to the instructor the first night of class and is determined by the project you choose to create. Tables are 16”x16” and 16” tall and are $80 each. Signs vary in size and are $16-$40 each. You will be asked to select your project at the time of registration so we have enough supplies.

Join a hands-on class for all things gluten free! Do you need a good pancake recipe or want a chewy bread like ciabatta? Maybe your muffins are too heavy or you have craved a good soft pretzel? Come for tasting of all things yummy but free of wheat, rye and barley. The evening will conclude with creating muffins or the dough for bread. Bring a container for dough or a muffin tin to class. If you would like to bring an additional person to class to help prepare your dish, you may add them to your registration for an extra $5. You will work together from one set of ingredients.

Golf Squad is an after-school enrichment program focused on teaching the fundamentals of the game of golf as well as valuable life lessons. The students will learn the basics of the game, which include putting, chipping, full swing irons and full swing woods. This event is for preschoolers and their grandma, grandpa or any special friend. The bumpers will be in place so everyone has a chance to knock down the pins! Meet at Strike Force Bowl in New Prague, bowl a game and then have pizza. $15 fee includes one game, shoe rental, and pizza per individual. Please register for how many will be attending. Don’t let the cooler weather damper your exercise program! Join your friends and neighbors in a safe, warm, dry environment and walk to your heart’s content. Exercise as often as you'd like. Bring water and clean, dry tennis shoes. How do I participate? Pre-registration is required. All walkers also need to obtain a hall walking badge PRIOR to walking at any of our schools. Your badge can be picked up between the hours of 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, at the New Prague Area Community Education office located at 410 Central Ave North, New Prague - enter through door #1. What is the cost? $15/person/year Where do I walk? Falcon Ridge Elementary (5:30-8:00 PM), New Prague High School indoor walking track (7:00-7:30 AM & 4:00-8:00 PM) or Eagle View Elementary (5:30 PM-8:00 PM). Registration allows you access to all three schools. When do I walk? Monday-Friday when school is in session. Schools are not open for walking when other building activities are taking place, on non-school days and for weather-related closures. Children and strollers are not permitted. Non-school dates will be provided when you pick up your badge. Dates and times are subject to change based upon all school activities. No food or beverages other than water are allowed. Questions? In this class, you will create 25 holiday cards (five cards of five different designs). All materials will be cut, packaged and ready for you to enjoy an evening of creating. Materials, envelopes, stamps, inks, and any tools needed to create cards will be provided. Please bring your own adhesive such as double stick tape, glue stick or tape runner – all of which can be found at any craft store. You can also purchase one the night of class from the instructor.
