New Prague Youth Wrestling - Option 1WrestlingThis is a great option for younger wrestlers. Practices will be held once a week and are 45 minutes in length. Suggested age groups for this are Pre-K - Kindergarten wrestlers. Practices are more laid back and are open to parent watch. Sign up to have a lot of fun while learning the basics of wrestling. Includes a NP Wrestling t-shirt. Warm-ups are not required at this level. Dates, Times, and Location are subject to adjustments. Any changes will be communicated by coaches. New Prague Youth Wrestling - Option 2WrestlingKindergarten-2nd grade Here is a great opportunity for the wrestler who has a year or two under their belt and just is not ready to commit to competition. Practices will be held twice a week for one hour in duration. These practices are also open to watch. The suggested age/grade for this session is kindergarten (if they already have some experience), first grade, and beginner second graders. During this session we encourage kids to participate in local tournaments selected by the coaches. The competition is not required but highly recommended. Entry fees to select tournaments are covered by the wrestling club. At this option warmups are optional. Information will be sent out by New Prague Wrestling. Dates, Times, and Location are subject to adjustments. Any changes will be communicated by coaches. The practices will be closed to non-coaches and will be more intense in nature. Practices are held two times a week for an hour and a half each practice. The suggested age/grade is 1-3. If you are new to the sport in grades k-2 you should look into option 2 as a starting point. Warm-ups are required at this level, information will be sent out by New Prague Wrestling. Dates, Times, and Location are subject to adjustments. Any changes will be communicated by coaches. Outdoor Story Walks (All ages)Special Events & Field TripsAll ages Back by popular demand!! The first Tuesday-Thursday of each month in October and May enjoy an Outdoor Story Walk with your child(ren) on your own schedule, during daylight hours. The Outdoor Story Walk will be at a local establishment. Parents and children will be able to get outdoors for some exercise, while also enjoying a story and lots of fun, related activities. Once you complete the walk, we invite you to sign our guest book and pick out a prize! This event is free. Donations are welcomed. However, registration is required so we have enough supplies. Pickleball-Elko New MarketHealth & FitnessPickleball is at Eagle View Elementary! Starting after Labor Day through Memorial Day pickleball will be available at the Eagle View Elementary gym on Mondays and Thursdays from 7:30 pm-9:30 pm and Saturday mornings from 9:00 am-Noon. You may bring your own equipment (paddle and balls) or we will have a few items that can be borrowed at no cost. The nets are provided. You can purchase a daily pass for one time use or a monthly pass for unlimited play. Don’t let your lack of pickleball knowledge keep you from coming; this group is very welcoming toward all skill levels. **This registration is for the Eagle View site only. Pickleball-New PragueHealth & FitnessSummer Play - Join other pickleball enthusiasts for open play on the outdoor Middle School courts this summer or in case of inclement weather inside on M-F from 7-9 in the CEC gym and inclement evenings and weekends on one of the three courts located in the Raven Stream Elementary School gym. Preschool Plus (Ages 3-5)Mixed AgesAges 3-5 This class is for parents and children who are currently attending preschool or planning to start preschool next year. Parents and children spend the first half of class participating in fun, learning activities together that have been planned by a teacher.
