Youth Entering Grades 5th-8th in Fall of 2026 Registration ends on July 27th Welcome to the New Prague Youth Football program! With direct oversight from our NPHS coaching staff, our program is dedicated to providing 5th through 8th grade students in the New Prague Area Schools with an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of football while fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth. As part of the New Prague Community Education program, we compete in the Southwest Metro Football League (SWML) against evenly matched teams from neighboring communities such as Chaska, Chanhassen, Eden Prairie, Orono, and Waconia. Through structured practices, competitive games, and the guidance of coaches, we aim to prepare our players for success on and off the field, building skills and values that will benefit them in all aspects of life. Participation in the New Prague Youth Football program is about more than winning or losing games. Our goal is to win every game; however, our purpose is to emphasize effort, resilience, and commitment, teaching players that with hard work and determination, they can overcome challenges and achieve their goals. Our coaches are dedicated to designing effective practice plans and fostering a supportive environment where each player can grow, regardless of their physical abilities. We are grateful for the trust that parents place in us and recognize the responsibility we have in shaping not only football players but also responsible young individuals. Registration Process Registration will close on Monday, July 27th Any athlete that registers after the registration deadline will be placed on a wait list.
