Summer PreschoolWelcome to our exciting summer preschool program, where the sunshine brings joy and learning together! Our summer preschool class is designed to provide a stimulating and nurturing environment for children ages 4 to 5 years old. Through a blend of engaging activities, creative play, and hands-on learning experiences, the children will be on a journey of exploration and discovery. Our curriculum fosters social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development while embracing the spirit of summer fun. Each week, we will explore a new theme inspired by summer adventures. Through stories, songs, crafts, and games, children will be engaged. Summer also allows for more time to explore the outdoors. Each week is a new session. Summer Tennis CampTennisGirls and boys will be introduced to the game of tennis by participating in exercises, drills, and games to build coordination and help learn the fundamentals such as proper grip, footwork, racket preparation, stroke technique for forehand, backhand, and volley. All athletes should wear tennis shoes, bring a water bottle and a tennis racket if they have one. Some tennis rackets will be available for use if needed. Summer Tennis Match PlayTennisGirls and boys will participate in competitive match play emphasizing skills and strategy to improve their tennis strokes and positioning for singles and doubles play. Participants should have an understanding of tennis strokes and scoring. Coaching will be provided during singles and doubles match play. All athletes should wear tennis shoes and bring a water bottle and tennis racket.Summer 2026 -
Summer Wrestling TrainingWrestlingEntering Grades 3-12 in Fall 2026 Must have prior wrestling experience If you want to be the best at anything, you need to put in more time and work harder than your opponents. This clinic, run by the current NPHS wrestling staff and current/former Trojan wrestlers, focuses on technique from all positions of wrestling. The intensity will be on the higher end with plenty of opportunity for fun! This is a great way to stay on the mat while also participating in other sports. The clinic will provide you the opportunity to learn and drill the techniques used by the NP Wrestling Program from the bottom up. Swimming Lesson Evaluation & Open SwimSwimming LessonsDuring this class time, swim instructors will be available to evaluate students individually to place in an appropriate level prior to registering for the next lesson session. In addition to the swim evaluation, participants are invited to enjoy a special open swim opportunity. Adults are invited to join the open swim time with their children at a cost of $5.00. Swimming LessonsWelcome to the New Prague Area swimming program! We offer SwimAmerica lessons for ages 6 months (with a parent) through adults. All lessons are held indoors in the New Prague Aquatic Center. In the land of 10,000 lakes, we take learning to swim very seriously and look forward to providing this service for you and your loved ones. Mark your calendar for upcoming dates Priority registration will open at 7 am Central on Monday morning and close at 4 pm Central on Wednesday afternoon. The priority registration period is for all district residents and those who are open-enrolled into the district. Anyone who registers during this time will automatically be placed on a waitlist until residency and/or enrollment can be confirmed. Registration for all other families will open the following Monday at 7 am and remain open until sessions are full. T-shirt/Jersey QuiltIn Your Spare TimeT-shirt quilts are a fabulous way of preserving special memories from your favorite vacation, sports, school years, plays, etc. They make great gifts for holidays, birthdays, anniversaries and graduations. This class walks you through the steps needed to create and design a 72" X 90" keepsake t-shirt quilt using your favorite t-shirts, sweatshirts or jerseys. This class is for anyone! No quilting experience is needed but you must have access to a sewing machine and be able to use it. Additional supplies such as fabric for sashing, borders and binding can be purchased from instructor or on your own. Ten yards of fabric is required to complete this quilt. Specific yardage as well as ways to quilt the top will be discussed at the first class. Down Under Quilting offers class participants a special of $95 to professionally machine quilt your t-shirt quilt. Class fee includes $30 of t-shirt interfacing. Tails and Ales: Beginning Dog Obedience TrainingIn Your Spare TimeAll breeds, 5 months and older Trainer: Chris Meyer, Kaos Kennels Is your dog being left out of important events? The Kaos Trainers will help with politely walking on leash, sit, down, stay, come when called and pub manners at Giesenbräu Bier Co. All dogs must be current on the three core vaccinations: Rabies, Distemper/Parvo Combination and Bordetella. Please e-mail a copy with "Tails and Ales" marked on the top to adventures@kaoskennel.com when you sign up for class. This class involves brisk walking at medium distances and quick movements - you will be on your feet for the entire class. PLEASE NOTE: No harnesses Week 1: Classes will combine for orientation WITHOUT dogs. Orientation is mandatory for class and dog safety. Working in teams, students will construct fun LEGO models, experiment with programs, and copete in robotic challenges.
