The growing season is in full swing—perfect timing to learn the essentials of home food preservation! Preserve summer's bounty and enjoy homemade jams, salsas, and fresh produce throughout the winter. Canning offers lower grocery bills, sustainability, and superior nutrition by allowing you to control the ingredients. This class makes it easy by covering tools, food safety, and ingredient selection for successful preservation. You will receive hands-on experience making jam to take home. Please bring a hot pad with you to class. If you would like to bring an additional person to class to help prepare your pot, you may add them to your registration for an extra $5. You will work together from one set of supplies.
