This course is best suited for 10 to 13-year-olds interested in learning the current practices of caring for young children and how to manage their babysitting business. Students will learn safety and injury prevention, CPR, first aid basics, feeding and caring for infants and how to handle behavior problems. Students receive a reference book, handouts, babysitting bag and first aid kit.

First Aid and Safety Trained Kids is a 4-hour course for 7 - 10-year-olds. This course helps prepare children for staying safe at and away from home. Lessons cover basic first aid, water safety, vehicle safety, home emergencies, injury prevention, stranger and internet safety. Students will receive a book, handouts and a home first aid kit as part of the class.

Open to children ages 11-15 Certification becomes valid at the age of 12. Complete the online course via the Minnesota DNR web site at www.snowmobilecourse.com/usa/minnesota. This online certificate MUST be complete to participate in the classroom portion of the certification. Attend this testing day to achieve your certification. Bring your helmet, warm clothes, pen/pencil and the DNR voucher proving completion of online course to test date. On the day of the test, a parent/guardian needs to come in and register their child with the instructor.A snowmobile will be provided on site for you to complete your certification. Times of class may be changed, information regarding any changes will be communicated to registered families.
