Coach Greg Sayuk is the Head Varsity Coach at New Prague High School and has 21 years of varsity experience - 20 as a head coach. Prior to coming to New Prague in 2020, he served as the head varsity coach at Southwest Christian High School in Chaska for 16 years. Coach Sayuk has helped lead teams to 11 conference championships and five state tournament appearances, including 3rd place (2021), 2nd place (2012, 2023), and 1st place (2013) finishes. He is a 9-time Section Coach of the Year and a 3-time Minnesota State Coach of the Year (2012, 2013, 2023). He also has several years of experience coaching club teams and summer camps of varying ages, working with players aged 13-18. Coach Sayuk is passionate about coaching as it is an opportunity to positively impact players by helping them achieve their athletic goals and build habits that players will use throughout their lives.
