Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Course

This blended learning course includes an online portion and an instructor-led classroom skills session. Online must be completed before attending the first in-class date. You will be sent the online portion approximately 1 week before the course start date. Please be sure to bring a lunch, snacks and a water bottle from home each day.

Candidates must be:

• 15 years old by the last class date or older
• able to tread water without hands for 2 minutes
• able to swim 300 yards continuously using freestyle/front crawl, or breast stroke
• able to complete a timed brick retrieval & 20 yard swim in 1 minute and 40 seconds
