Hydroponics is a sustainable approach to gardening that allows you to grow fresh food in your home year-round using nutrient-rich water solutions instead of soil. Vertically stacked plant containers are often used in hydroponics to maximize space and crop yield. Join this introductory class to learn everything you need to know to get started with hydroponics including the types of hydroponic systems, how to set up and start your own growing system, the advantages and pitfalls of vertical farming, and more! But to pay the bills, George currently serves as Director of Parts and Service for a robotic company in the cities. He enjoys his free time with his kids and wife, as well as volunteering at Como in the winter months and at the Railway museum north of New Prague.
