Essential Czech Language

You know how to say “Jak se máte” or ask for a “pivo” but have you always felt you wanted to learn more of the Czech language? Perhaps your ancestors were from the Czech Republic and you have always wanted to visit but were hesitant about your language skills, or maybe you simply want to know what it was your grandparents and parents were saying when they spoke together. Now you have the opportunity to learn Czech from a native Czech speaker. Katerina is a native of the Czech Republic and currently teaches English, Latin and Czech for the Charles University. The class is scheduled to focus on expanding vocabulary for real-life speaking situations along with increasing an understanding of the Czech culture. Participants will gain practical language skills regarding introductions, expressions, travel, literature, cuisine and habits.
